Cannigione – a previous fishing village but now a top holiday destination in Northern Sardinia is a beautiful inlet and the perfect starting point for your private gulet charter with Salamander Voyages. It boasts beautiful beaches, a magical port and an opportunity to taste the local gastronomy of Gallura.

Caprera Island – this is one of the islands in the Maddalena archipelago of the coast of Sardinia where Giuseppe Garibaldi stayed in his last house and where he was buried in 1882.

Giasardinelli Island – a small uninhabited granite island surrounded by beautiful aquamarine sea

Maddalena City – The largest town in the Maddalena archipelago. The only access to this Island is by boat. There is a lot of history linked to the island and a very interesting place to visit as well as some lovely shops and restaurants to explore.

Cavallo Island – Cavallo is an inhabited island and mostly privately owned, but does allow limited access. There is a commercial area with a restaurant and a shop for sailors, along with a luxury hotel and Spa. Only electric cars and bicycles are allowed on the island.

Sant’ Amanza bay – one of the most beautiful beaches in Corsica, surrounded by granite rocks and limestone cliffs, the perfect spot for windsurfing.

Piana Island – Overhangs the gulf of Porto, in the amazing location and magical setting, Piana Island and village is a stop not to be missed on your gulet holiday. Rebuilt from the end of the 17th century after a trying Genoese occupation, Piana has several monuments worth seeing and some picturesque streets to explore.

Bonifacio – Bonifacio is a town on the southern tip of Corsica. It is known for its lively marina and medieval clifftop citadel (City castle). Perched on a limestone cliff that has been hollowed and hit by the wind and waves, Bonifacio is one of the most spectacular towns in the Mediterranean.

Porto della Madonna (Buddelli, Razzoli and S. Maria Islands) – is the lagoon from the emerald sea enclosed between the islands of Budelli, Razzoli and Santa Maria within the La Maddalena National Park.
It is described as the most attractive “Sea of the Park”. In this amazing body of water the park has reserved large areas dedicated to both snorkeling and whale watching.

Porto Puddu – Known as ‘Chicken harbour’ in english, this Italian bay is known for watersports.

Cala Corsara (Spargi Island) – This is the third biggest island in the Archipelago which can only be reached by sea. It is well worth a visit with the magical beaches, interesting sand dunes, granite rocks and thick vegetation. Once you are on the island, look out for some of the bizarre rock formations – ‘The Witch’ and the ‘Bulldog’ are some popular ones!

Maddalena Island – This is the main island in the Maddalena archipelago and is home all but 5% of the archipelagos 10,000 inhabitants. It has several beaches and is connected by a causeway with the nearby island of Caprera.

Santo Stefano Island – Like the rest of the archipelago, this island was created by volcanic activity and is predominantly round. It is home to an old prison built in 1797 and in use until 1965. The island has been uninhabited since the closure of the prison, except for tourists that can visit by boat during the day.

Porco Islet (Isola del Porco) – Isola del Porco is situated next to Caprera Island in La Maddalena Archipelago in Emerald Coast, Sardinia. From Italian it translates as a ‘pig island’.

Cannigione – This is where you fantastic week on board comes to an end and where most of our guests will return home from through Olbia airport.
