There are two routes to choose to sail on from Gocek, Turkey. This route heads towards the vibrant city of Bodrum, where you will pass several unique beaches, coves and seaside towns.
Gocek
There is plenty of choice of restaurants in Gocek, of which are a sight to behold during the evening when illuminated against the glistening sea.
The Gocek Marina is a popular spot, yet remains unspoiled with a tranquil charm. Many couples and honeymooners visit this romantic location, there are many lively, traditional Turkish weddings which take place in the square. These make for great occasions with live music and dancing into the night.
Gocek holidays are a great destination for families as well as couples, due to the friendly, vibrant nature of the town. Sailor’s from all over the world stop off to visit Gocek. Once visited, it’s hard not to return.
Fethiye
Once we arrive at Fethiye, you will understand why it is such a popular destination, as well as being worth the wait. The port City contains a stunning natural harbour, perhaps the finest in the region.
There is plenty more to see as well as the port. There are secluded islands scattered around the broad bay. Şövalye Adası was even featured in the James Bond film Skyfall. Another seaside hotspot, Ölüdeniz, is also close by.
Tomb Bay
The name of Tomb Bay is derived from ancient Lycian burial sites situated on the area. These tombs are inscribed into the rock, a short walk up the hill on Tomb Bay. There is also a relaxed restaurant here, located on two authentic, wooden docks. Tomb Bay is home to calm, tranquil shores and more pine trees.
Hamam Bay
Hamam Bay has plenty of history to offer. This bay is also referred to as Cleopatra’s Bath.
Cleopatra, the Egyptian queen, was said to bathe here twice a week, even on her honeymoon. The volcanic structure of this cove gave warm water to a crater lake.
As well as relaxing in the clear, natural waters, Hamam bay is also covered with greenery and pine trees, which make hiking and exploring irresistible. Visiting the ruins of the ancient of Lydae is popular due to the scenic landscapes on the route.
Dalyan River
There are plenty of activities to do at the Dalyan River. This historic location contains ancient Lycian rock tombs, which were carved into the cliffs during 400 BC. These are visible from the breathtaking Dalyan River you can set sail down.
Istuzu Beach or Dalyan Turtle Beach is also home to protected species of turtles. It’s common to see these peaceful creatures relaxing in their natural habitat. You can also refresh yourself in a mud bath after rafting along the river, before finishing the day souvenir shopping in the village of Dalyan.
Ekincik
The views en route to Ekincik of Marmaris are breathtaking enough. Many sailors travel to Ekincik, yet this secluded location keeps its quaint charm. As well as beautiful beaches and clear waters, there is also lots of green hills and forestry in Ekincik.

Loryma

Bozburun
Don’t be surprised to find more Gulets and yachts in Bozburun. This seaside village is renown for the production of gulets. Here, you can visit the yacht club for some food and drinks or take a walk along the pier to watch the fishermen and divers.
Selimiye
Selimiye is home to the ancient City of Hydas, as well as mesmeric bays and beaches. This quaint village is a must-visit for tourists with an appetite for seafood, as there are plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from.
Here, you’re able to take a trip to the markets where you can buy authentic spices, crafts and fresh fruit and vegetables. The coves of Selimiye are great for swimming, fishing, or even renting a jet ski.
Symi
Symi is a colourful, relaxing Island to the South-East of Bodrum. Simi is one of the hotspots of the Dodecanese, for good reason. The picturesque landmarks include vibrant architecture, houses and a charming port.
Once we anchor in the port, you’re able to explore the surrounding villages and smaller coves and beaches with crystal clear waters. These are the perfect locations for a relaxing, romantic walk to take in the surroundings.
Knidos

Knidos was previously a Greek City, in ancient times. It is one of the most important historical sites on the Turkish coastlines, containing ancient ruins and amphitheatres.
Bodrum
The City of Bodrum, Turkey, is located on a peninsula on the Southwest coast of Turkey, stretching into the Aegean Sea. This vibrant seaside city has twin bays and sandy beaches. There is also a rich history with Bodrum holidays. The Bodrum castle was built in the 4th century BC and is known as one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. This landmark is visible from numerous parts of the City of Bodrum and its beaches.
